Neurological MRI Exams

Neurological MRI exams provide information on various conditions affecting the brain and spinal cord.

One significant advantage of MRI is that it provides a more detailed image than other methods. It is noninvasive, there is no harmful radiation exposure, and it allows for diagnosis of a wide range of conditions, including tumors, aneurysms, disorders of the eyes and inner ear, stroke, diseases of the pituitary gland, and neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis (MS).

Neurological MRI exams of the brain and cervical and lumbar spines may help diagnose causes of headache, arthritis, disc disease, pain, and tingling/numbness in the arms and legs.
