Musculoskeletal MRI Exams

Musculoskeletal MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed pictures of the joints, soft tissues, and bones.

Musculoskeletal MRI provides a more detailed image than other methods. It is noninvasive, there is no harmful radiation exposure, and it allows for diagnosis of a wide range of conditions affecting the the knee, shoulder, ankle, hip, and wrist. This includes diseases involving tendons, ligaments, muscles, cartilage, and bones, as well as tumors, cysts, tears, and fractures.
